Mississauga, Ont.—March 1st, 2018—As part of Manheim Canada’s goal to become a leader in digital remarketing, the company is continuing to invest in Manheim.ca. In order to drive a richer client experience, Manheim Canada will provide its clients with a connected digital marketplace.
In October of 2017, Manheim.ca launched an online payment functionality called Pay Online. This year, Manheim Canada has added to its innovative and easy-to-use applications that will continue to change the way dealers buy, sell and track their automotive inventory investments.
“Our mission is to help our Manheim.ca clients operate their businesses in a way that best suits their needs – whether that’s selling used vehicles in their office, on their lot, or when they’re mobile,” said Stephanie Turner, Senior Manager, Business Development & Strategy, Cox Automotive Canada. “Using Manheim Canada’s connected digital marketplace, our clients will experience delivery efficiency, cost savings, and convenience.”
Clients will now be able to search for vehicles at upcoming auctions directly through Manheim.ca, which will feature vehicles that are exclusive to the Canadian market. Users can streamline their search results and/or bookmark their favourites for quick and easy reference. History Reports and Condition Reports are now also more easily accessible. These key enhancements are available in English and French.
In addition to finding cars, Manheim.ca has enhanced its integration with Ready Logistics, Cox Automotive Canada’s transportation brand, making it easier to get quotes and ship cars that were purchased at the auction. Canada is the first country outside of the U.S. to begin leveraging Ready Logistics’ full-service transportation logistics solutions. Founded in 2007 and acquired by Manheim in 2012, Ready Logistics is a nationwide, full-service transportation solutions company for automotive dealers, auctions, commercial clients, and car owners. Last year, Ready Logistics moved two million cars across North America.
“In today’s highly competitive market, it’s more important than ever before for us to invest in our single integrated marketplace,” said Maria Soklis, President of Cox Automotive Canada. “Our goal is to make things better, smarter, and faster for our clients. With our Inventory Solutions stream – including Manheim, Ready Logistics, and RMS, our Canadian clients can now connect directly with physical auctions. This means 24/7 buying and selling, but it also includes everything our clients need for financing and logistics, while reducing their risk in one end-to-end solution.”
