As Managing Director, Kelley Blue Book & Data Solutions, Brian Murphy is responsible for implementing and adapting Kelley Blue Book’s long-term operation and growth strategies for international markets by leveraging valuations and data to drive industry insight opportunities for the business and industry.
A collaborative and seasoned leader who is well versed in the automotive industry, Brian has a strategic mindset on growing businesses and developing and integrating market intelligence. He strives to improve the customer experience, market share and profitability through his focus on building high-performance teams by applying his strong comprehensive experience working across global markets.
Brian most recently joins Cox Automotive Canada from Canada Black Book (CBB) where he held the position of Vice President, Research & Analytics, and previous to that with J.D. Power as a Senior Manager in the Global Automotive Consulting group. Brian has also worked with two OEMs here in Canada, in both product planning and marketing roles. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from University of Western Ontario and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from McMaster University.
