As the Chief Customer Officer, Laurent Villanueva develops and leads the strategic business and operational direction that achieves industry-leading client satisfaction and drives revenue growth. As part of this role, Laurent is responsible for crafting and implementing a national sales strategy and playbook that integrates all of Cox Automotive Canada’s business units.
As a seasoned leader with a track record for delivering superior customer growth and success across industries and continents, he has been recognized as a strategic and influential professional who is focused on creating working environments that allows team members to exhibit high performance and engagement within the organization. His successes have been guided by his strong analytical aptitude and strategic business mindset, which has led him to make effective decisions for the organizations he has worked for.
Laurent, with 17 years of experience in the automotive industry, most recently joined Cox Automotive from Dealer-FX, where he held the position of Executive Vice President, Client Services, and was previously with Lafarge where he held senior sales leadership positions in Canada and for the global headquarters in France. He is fully bilingual and holds a Master of Business Administration from Queens University and a Master of Engineering Degree in Automotive and Aerospace Engineering from ENSIAME in France.
