Career Spotlight: Natasha Snow

“The part I enjoy most about my job is dealing with our customers and providing them with the best service experience possible.”

As part of a monthly series that profiles a wide variety of jobs at Cox Automotive Canada, we sat down with Natasha Snow, Dealer Services/ Front Office Manager, Manheim.

Before joining the team, what aspect of working at Cox Automotive Canada (CAC) most appealed to you?

Before joining the team, I thought working for a car auction would be a very neat experience.  I had never seen an auctioneer “performing” live and I still remember my very first auction – standing on the block next to the auctioneer feeling the rush and excitement of the vehicles as they sold!  I still feel that same excitement all these years later and have been thankful to be part of this business ever since.

At a very high level, can you describe the role you play at CAC?

The role I play at CAC is Front Office Manager/Dealer Services Manager so I get to support a lot of different areas of the business, particularly with the team transitioning to some exciting new operational systems that will provide an improved experience for our customers.

What do you like most about your job?

The part I enjoy most about my job is dealing with our customers and providing them with the best service experience possible. I really love finding solutions to problems and being known as someone who is always dependable and I enjoy having a network of coworkers/professionals who I can reach out to and discuss ideas to find the best solutions for our customers and business.  My team members make every day enjoyable; the family atmosphere within our team is a wonderful thing! #TeamAwesome!

Since joining CAC, have you had opportunities to expand your skill set and grow your career through any training, experiences or new roles?

I have had the opportunity over the last 17 years to learn many different areas of the business. I started out as reception/front office clerk and moved into sales and dealer services.  I also am trained for block clerking and I aspire to learn the craft of auctioneering!  Before my current role as Dealer services Manager, I was also fortunate enough to learn about our transportation, commercial, accounting and Arbitration departments. I love being versatile and being able to help where I am needed.

How does CAC inspire you to go above and beyond the call of duty?

Working for CAC keeps me inspired to show up and give 100% to my team members and customers every day.  I feel this way because I know Cox cares about their people, partners and communities.  CAC is always committed to doing the right thing and these great core values keep me motivated and always proud to go above and beyond the call of duty every day.

What advice would you give a new CAC team member?

If I could give advice to a new member it would be for them to ask as many questions as they can think of and utilize all the resources available within our company. Knowledge in Power!

In 1-3 words, how would you describe working at CAC?

Room for professional growth!

Anything else you would like to say?

I am glad I have found a career within a company that holds values that are near and dear to my heart.  I truly feel that I am part of something awesome here and I am proud to do what I can to help the company succeed everyday!
