Cox Automotive Canada employees honoured with Remarketing Under 40 awards

Mississauga, Ont.—April 5, 2017—The Auto Remarketing Canada Conference is an annual event that brings together all aspects of the remarketing and used-vehicle industry for two days of sharing and networking. Beyond the educational sessions and networking with peers, one of the highlights of the annual Conference are its awards. And this year’s event, held at the Westin Harbor Castle Hotel in Toronto, April 3 and 4, 2017, was no exception.

The Canadian auto industry is full of young men and women who have achieved substantial success at an early age, from dealers and entrepreneurs to auction executives and auto-lending professionals. And from this group, we are very proud that four members of our Cox Automotive Canada team—Gerry Johnson, Jeff Gallon, Stephanie Mathon, and Stephanie Turner—were each honoured this year with the prestigious Remarketing Under 40 award.

In addition to the much-deserved personal recognition, these awards illustrate the type of great, young talent that Cox Automotive Canada already has, and speaks well to the future success of the company.

Congratulations to our winners!

Gerry Johnson, 40 – Manheim Canada, Senior Manager, Commercial Accounts: “There are many achievements I’m proud of, none of which could have been possible without the people that take the time in mentoring me, giving me advice—positive and negative—and most of all, giving me opportunities within the auto remarketing industry.”

Jeff Gallon, 38 – Dealertrack Canada, Director, Product Management: “I am most proud of playing a role in developing technologies that will change the landscape of auto retailing as we know it today. Consumers are driving change in the process, and I’m supporting the Dealertrack team in building solutions to meet that change.”

Stephanie Mathon, 39 – Manheim Montreal, Human Resources Manager: “I’ve been working in human resources for almost 20 years now, and it never ceases to amaze me just how rewarding it is to have the opportunity to grow in such a unique field of business. Just like plants, we’re either growing or dying.”

Stephanie Turner, 30 – Cox Automotive Canada, Senior Manager, Strategy & Business Development: “I am very proud of the career path that I’ve taken as it has allowed me to be where I am today; in a role where I’m constantly learning about the latest technology that is disrupting our industry, and where I feel I can make an impact.”
