Sulymka joined Cox Automotive Canada in November of 2015 as the Director of Marketing and Corporate Communications. Prior to that, he held roles with Kia Canada Inc. as the Manager of Corporate Communications and Corporate Partnerships, as well as National Manager, Marketing.

“Jack is a driven and dedicated professional who has a comprehensive background and understanding of the automotive industry,” said Maria Soklis, President of Cox Automotive Canada. “The decision to refresh our leadership team – and Jack’s recent appointment – is one that best reflects our company culture. He has strong relationship-building skills that consistently drive results, and I am confident that this will help take us to the next level.”

In his new role, Sulymka will be responsible for spearheading efforts to develop new national business opportunities for Manheim Canada. He will, additionally, provide guidance to the fleet and lease teams at the auction level through constant communication of customer’s direct feedback, performance expectations, and industry news. By partnering with corporate resources that include marketing, online services, and IT, Sulymka will be better able to develop and grow market share.

Replacing Sulymka in the interim is Nathan Smith, who has taken on the role of Acting Director, Marketing and Corporate Communications. Smith – who joined Cox Automotive Canada in October of 2016 as the National Brand Marketing Manager – has an MBA from McMaster University, where he specialized in Marketing and Corporate Finance. He brings more than sixteen years of marketing experience to his newly-appointed acting role. Previous to his position with Cox Automotive Canada, Smith spent more than a decade with Canadian Tire in the marketing and new business development areas.
