Trio of new executives joins the Cox Automotive Canada team

With a growing reputation as a company people want to work for, Cox Automotive Canada is pleased to announce the recent arrival of three new executives to our growing team.

Moataz (Mo) Ashoor, Director of Finance, Cox Automotive Canada

As a Senior Finance Leader, Mo brings broad experience working within global organisations and with multiple stakeholders to the Cox Automotive Canada team. As a key business partner to executive teams, Mo has experience in establishing robust financial planning, budgeting and control processes for businesses, strategising growth plans, managing operating models and executing controllership functions through various legal entities.

Mo joins us most recently from AON Hewitt, where he last held the position of the CFO, and previously with Accenture Inc., Director of Finance Canada. He holds a Bachelors of Arts in Economics from Simon Fraser University, and is a CPA, CMA.

Jerome Dwight, National Vice President Canada, NextGear Capital

Jerome is a senior leader with diverse industry experiences in cross-functional roles having led sales, finance, and operations across financial services, technology, and private equity industries. He brings a track record of achieving revenue and profit growth through developing key strategies to meet business targets while establishing high-performance sales and service teams globally.

He was most recently at Royal Bank of Canada, where he served as the Managing Director, Market Head Americas and previously as the President & Managing Director for BNY Trust Canada. Jerome holds a Bachelors of Commerce from the University of Toronto, an MBA from the Schulich School of Business, and is certified as a Chartered Accountant (CA), and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

Grace Kong, Vice President, Human Resources, Cox Automotive Canada

Grace arrives with over 20 years of experience working with industry leaders in pharmaceutical and consumer healthcare, medical device, financial services, and the high-tech industry.

She is known for her level of professionalism in the industry. Grace’s strong communication and relationship management skills allow her to contribute and help drive business results through the proactive development and implementation of best in class human resource practices.

A graduate of the University of Toronto, designated HR Professional, and Executive Coach with significant experience working for global matrix organisations, Grace will be an asset to our team, helping us with our journey to take Cox Automotive Canada to new heights.
